Side note: If I owned a Mustang that originally came with the “5.0” badge, it would totally have a custom “4.9” badge made.

It’s 4942cc, which is where the “liter” size is derived from. Thus, it’s technically a 4.9l.

There is always a .30 over bore to make it 306. Now that is a fun motor, Unshrouded valves FTW!
